Gunnar playing on the sidelines.
Dalton started basketball in January. He is loving every second of it! It is just what he needed to help pass these long winter days of being cooped up indoors. I'm so impressed at what a natural athlete he is and how he gets out there and gives his all at every game. He loves to be the one to throw the ball in, he loves to dribble the ball down the court, he has a huge smile on his face every time he gets to play defense and try to steal the ball from the other team. He's learning how to work well with his team and find someone who's open and pass the ball. He is so much fun to watch! On Thurs. (Feb. 10th) He made his first basket during a game. It was right as the buzzer went off for halftime and it was so exciting! He got the rebound and shot the ball- and it went through the hoop! He was fist pumping and yelling, "Yes!" and jumping up and down! It was so cute! The next quarter he made an awesome assist and his teammate Jed made another basket! He's having such a blast! His coach is Bryce Moyes and a lot of the kids on his team he's played t-ball with. It's so fun for him to play with his buds. He's been so excited for basketball to start. I signed him up in November and almost every day he's been asking when basketball starts. He was so excited for his first practice- I think he was more excited for basketball than for Christmas! After his first practice I asked him if it was as fun as he thought it would be and he said- it was even better!
