Christmas morning we all slept in until after 7. We made the boys wait to go downstairs until Jake had checked to see if Santa had came and to turn on the Christmas lights, start the fire, get the camera ready. After Jake came back we let the boys come down one at a time- youngest first. Ridge was a little confused at first and said that Santa didn't come, then he saw that most the cookies and milk were gone and got super excited! He said, "Santa did come! See he ate the cookies and drank the milk!" Then Ridge took a bite out of what Santa didn't eat! Gunnar and then Dalton got to come down next. They were bouncing off the walls with excitement! The boys got spoiled rotten this year. They got a basketball hoop, a tube to pull behind the boat, and they each got the toy they asked Santa for. Dalton got his compound bow, Gunnar got his remote control helicopter, Ridge got his "monster toy"- (cookie monster), and some Jumbo Dinosaurs. We didn't get any pictures besides this one of Ridge and Cookie Monster because we took a lot of video instead. After we all opened our gifts we had a quick breakfast of fruit and cinnamon rolls (that Candace had given us the night before) then we had to hurry and clean up because all of Jake's family was coming at 11 to celebrate Christmas with us. Unfortunately when you're the hostess sometimes you aren't able to take very many pictures:( These are all I ended up getting:
| Dalton, Riley, Whitney, and Lexi thanking Grandma and Grandpa for their gifts |
| Doug, Ridge, Jay, and Gunnar on the floor, Ashley and Cooper, Jen, Riley, Lori, and Bentley |
| Sharell, Doug, Ridge, Lori, David, and Bentley, and the back of Whitney's head. |
| Ridge and Jay loved playing with Ridge's new Farm toys |
| Later that night Dalton, Gunnar, and Ridge were watching one of their new Christmas movies and Ridge lined up all his new dinosaurs to watch with him. |
| The boys with their presents they got from Santa. |
We had such a wonderful Christmas! We are so blessed to be able to spend time with our amazing families and celebrate our Saviors birth and his life. Merry Christmas!
