Christmas Eve 2012

Gunnar thanking Grandpa and Grandma for his gift
My parents have started a tradition of having us all over on Christmas Eve for a huge prime rib feast. We all bring an appetizer or dessert to go with and we eat until we are about ready to pop! Then we do our Christmas gift exchange. The kids draw names every year for, the grownups opted out of exchanging gifts this year but we all ended up getting a little something for everyone anyways. My mom thought it would be fun to put all the kids gifts in a ball of plastic wrap, each kid having to unwrap the ball of plastic to get to their wrapped present starting with the youngest grandchild. It was a lot of fun!

Jake is making good us out of the used plastic wrap- he's tying Ridge up with it!

Dalton and Great Grandma Marlow

Dalton and Grandpa, I love the big smile on my Dad's face!

Now that's an excited kid! Kade gave Dalton a make it yourself wood race car set.

Kade and McKenna checking out McKenna's new clothes I got her.

She is one happy girl! That's quite the pose!

Mom's excited about the food saver we all went in on for her.
We all went in on getting my Dad's 29 3/4" Pilot Mountain buck mounted that's been sitting in his barn for years.  He noticed that the antlers were missing and started asking questions before Christmas though. Laura and Brandon tried to throw him off by giving him this stuffed sheep instead:)

My Dad's excited about the stuffed animal we gave him:)

Dalton, Gunnar, and Kade are all pretty excited about Dalton's present.

Clayton and Natalie are big University of Utah fans so I got Nixon this cute beanie:)

There's my Dad's real present! It turned out great!

We were loading everything up to go home and couldn't find Gunnar. This is where we found him. Playing with Blakely. He loves babies!

Blakely loves Gunnar!

We got home about 9 and Ernie had left the boys matching Jammies!  Then we put out cookies and milk for Santa, read the Christmas story from the Bible, and the Night Before Christmas and it was off to bed to await Santa!
